Where did you see a XJ today?

I was in High Point, NC today and saw a black, lifted and modded XJ coming up behind me pretty quick today on Hartley going towards N. Main. I turned left on Old Winston Road and they did too. I pulled over to get them besides me and they made a quick turn to the left. Nice looking rig. Any chance that owner is on Cherokee Forum?

Were you just driving through or do you live around the Triad? High Point, Greensboro, Winston?

I have a really nice Chili red one near me that I see driving by once in a while. Older lady driving it, maybe in her 80s. Looks like one of those spunky ones. :) The rig looks like it just came off the showroom floor! All stock.

I see about 10 XJs a day. Granted my office has a window to the main street but I still see a ton of them when I am driving around. There is a super clean, bone stock, 97+ up the street that I keep wanting to ask the owner if they want to sell.

If you ask him I'll chip in, we can buy a storage unit that's environmentally controlled and store it there for 20 years so we can sell it for 300,000 XD

High Point, NC - I think it was the XJ that is for sale on Facebook. Sharp ride!

Here in central NC - I see maybe one to three a week. There are a few I wish I hadn't seen. The Maaco that painted my Classic, had one sitting in the driveway when I arrived. A real nice rig for sure and very capable. I really like the accessories and the owner has done most of the work himself.

Very few in my new town (megalopolis).... in fact, most of the time when I'm driving down the road... my old XJ is the oldest vehicle I see anywhere around me. Very rare to see older vehicles on the roads here for some reason.

There is a dk red 99 sitting at a shop nearby. Shop owner let me take a look at it and the underside is shot, sadly. Good interior tho. Just up the road from that is a dark green 97-01 that i see almost everyday on the way to work. Its a driver, and looks stock. Just up the road from that is a white early 90s sitting behind a house next to a garage. I dont think it ever gets driven as its ALWAYS sitting in the same spot, everyday.
