Default Wheel size

Hi guys,

I'm looking to replace my rims and I'm a little confused on something. The size on my tire says 225mm wide and 15" diameter. 225mm is 8.86". I can find rim sizes at 8" wide or 10" wide. Would I be able to use size 15" diameter x 8" wide? I can't seem to find 15" x 9".

Anything that's a 30x9.50 tire and above will be fine with the 15x8 wheel below that will need the 15x7 wheel

If you plan on going any higher I would go with the 15x8...You can go up to a 35 on 8's

How do I know size my wheels are? I have a 96 cherokee classic with the 5 rounded spokes. I planned on going 30x9.5

EDIT: I should add, my tires are 225/75/15R. I know this means the diameter is 15, but I didn't know how to get the width of them

dont worry about the 225, that is just the tire width and doesnt have anything to do with rim width.

a 15x8 wheel should be fine for whatever tire you plan on running
