Np231"command trac" only has 2wd, 4lo part time, and 4 high part time. Part time meaning it is only meant to be used in offroad like terrain...not on pavement. Np242 is the "selec trac" case with the full time option for leaving 4wd engaged while on road

My 2001 has the up country pkg . Skid plate front , gas tank skid , Tow hooks, LSD rear diff. No rear sway bar ,full size spare , no ABS !
