What tranny do I have???

I have a 93 cherokee, 4.0 H.O. 4x4 auto... Has 237xxx on the dial.I have a C8.25 in back and D30 in front. What tranny do I have? I want to rebuild transmission and engine so I have no worries Ill be stranded unless you all have better options for me.So far it looks on average for both, parts will cost around 1000$. Is it smarter to just swap engine and tranny? Will labor be cheaper that way? Main reason why I want to do this is because I feel it shifting late ( Over rev )and somewhat loud while running even when not stepping on it. It still runs strong but I'm not quite sure bc its my first jeep, I just feel like theres some un-nessecary strain on the engine. Maybe because of 3" lift? or 31' tires? Help please,Thanks!

Maybe throttle position sensor?? I know when mine was bad it wouldn't shift until I was in high high rpms. New sensor, fixed. Worth a shot. 50$<1000$

also may be shift solenoids. they're in the tranny under the pan. easy job for anyone to do.
parts are cheap too. like 12 bux for one and about 30 for the other. there is only 2.
