What is the pink airline going through the fire wall on the passenger side.

What is the pink airline going through the fire wall on the passenger side.
Notice this line was broken. It is very brittle and not connected. Any ideas of what it is for.

What they said. Does the heat work? Do you have vent controls other than defrost? Do you have a crappy idle? That line is a vacuum line. Open ended, it creates a vacuum leak that will cause the engine to run bad. Pinch the line off and it will run better.
