Thoughts on this XJ?
http://landersfordmemphis.com/2000-J...-TN/vd/7167038
might be looking at this, price seems fair for only 120xxx, but i went to the dealership today and it wasnt on the lot? but when i was cruising the lot, i notice in the very back corner there was a blue 98 manual xj that was pretty beat up, but looked good/ only problem was it was 2wd
but anyways, let em know if i should consider getting her. thanks

alright thanks, i think im gonna call and ask if they still have it and go take a look at it, i know the people who own the place so i mght be able to get a the price down and snag a deal.
but id much rather buy one from an owner, because i feel dealerships tend to hide things and overprice.

Hey make sure you get a carfax on it.
I don't like that is has different color airbag covers for the steering wheel and passenger airbag. (at least it looks like that in the pics)
They only cost like 35 bucks for likr five of them from their web site

The seats are stained, the passenger side mirror is missing the glass, the plastic trim is faded, the headliner is starting to sag, has a sunroof (wind noise and water leaks), carpet is stained brown, and is missing the RF center cap. Too high of a price.

Way to high. I bought my 99 with the same options and ten thousand more miles for $500. Why so cheep? It was in a crash. Got the buddy discount on some parts to fix it 175. But if you went to a bone yard you would pay 4-600. That's for front axle t-case drive shaft header with lights and a quarter panel with flair.
You say no Jeep yet and I just wanted to post this to let you know not to be afraid of buying and fixing. The plus to doing it this way besides cost is to get to know your rig before you head out and brake it on the trail. Makes getting home quicker. Here it is after a 3' and 31s Cost of that used lift and tires 400
