What does your XJ mean to you?

I have always been a big fan of Jeep. Loved them since I was a small kid. The XJ came out when I was just 13 and I thought they were the coolest vehicles on the road. I only knew a few kids whose parents who drove them and they were the luxury SUV on the road. I grew up through my teen years thinking this was the coolest rig on the road and to this day there is no SUV that can stand next to it. I was heart broken when Jeep choose not to produce the sport anylonger and have been disapointed with Jeep ever since. I look at mine like it was a new vehicle... giving it once last look before I walk in the door. I was like a kid shopping for once and could not stop talking about them. My wife even gets it a little. She has the Jeep bug to. Quite simply, I have owned a lot of vehicles from toyota 4x4's, ford, chevy, mazda, and I love this rugged 10 year old Jeep more than any.

I am only sixteen so my xj is my first vehicle. It means a hell of a lot to me. here in april when i get my liscence it will be my ticket to get away from the house haha. I love going to the mountains in my jeep and that will never change!

My XJ means everything to me. Without it I don't know what I would do. I've been around 4x4's my whole life and was just bitten by the jeep bug a year or so ago and I will never own another 4x4. My xj rocks. The best 4x4 out of the few I've owned.

My XJ is my life practically. This is how I use my paycheck every week: 1. Pay insurance for XJ 2. Put gas in XJ 3. Fix broken stuff on XJ 4. Install performance parts on XJ. Then I plan out what I can do with next weeks paycheck. I've always been a fan of the Cherokees and after selling my piece of crap pickup truck, I was on the hunt for one. I found my dream Jeep...Black, 2 door, 5 speed, 4x4 and looked halfway decent, but not nice enough where I would care if I got it scratched or dinged. After all the work I put into it, it finally feels like I have something to show for it and say that it's my own.

I'm with you there. My paychecks go into my jeep. I pay my insurance and cell phone bill and the rest in gas and upgrades

My dad is the one that got me into offroading. Every year he would take me to moab with a couple of buddies, rent a jeep and play for a week. right before he died he told me that he would get me an XJ for my first car...

well, my dad is gone, but my mom had no hesitation asking me to craigslist a cherokee when i was 16 haha

I've paid $2500 of it so far and will never look back. jeep for life

It's my first vehicles. I've had it about 2 1/2 years now. My Jeep is my baby. You scratch the paint, I scratch your face!

Since I paid it off, I'm looking to getting another one with 4x4 and a manual transmission.

Well my ex girlfriend always got mad because i spent too much time working on the jeep and not enough time with her and she told me to choose between the two of them.....did i mention she's my ex-girlfriend? :D

My parents have always owned a cherokee. It was the family vehicle for a long time. Now its my DD. I have had a lot of good times with the fam in my jeep and everytime I work on something I find a melted crayon or something that I left behind a long time ago.

Mine means nothing but another mode of transportation. Even with all the time and money I have invested in it, it can be replaced. It is a material possesion with a small monetary value that constantly requires more money than it is worth to keep running on roadworthy. I have had way to many vehicles in my life to get attached to any of them.

speaking of girls. don't ever try to spend time with ur gf and work on ur xj. rusty bolts are frustrating.. try having those and the "well huney.." or "what are you doing?" or "omg the truck fell of the jackstands are you ok?" or "why are you putting that gun to your head?"
