Smile What did you find out about your jeep today?

I found out today that my jeep has cruise control but i have to look into it more before I connect the wire that is hanging down from under the dash

And another thing that i have found out is to fix my jeep is only a 10 dollar fix for the speedometer http://tinyurl.com/speedometercable

Got a picture? I can identify it.

I found out a couple days ago that the reason my shifter light wasn't coming on was because the light bulb fell out of the plastic holder thingy. So it was just laying on the floor under the shifter.

My hatch latch rod is crap and I need oil.

And yea the d35 and 8.25 is simple to differ, you could either look at the diff or open it up and notice the big gears

I found out my rear brakes were completely shot when I went to change a leaky wheel cylinder. Good thing Napa delivers to my shop!

found out that i may need a longer drive shaft and new gears, grinding for days, went to a mechanic and he said noise is coming from diff, because shaft is too short, even though rough country said the spacers for the transfer case will fix all probs with lifting a jeep, well not.

i found out that the previous owner of my jeep doesnt know how to wire for ****. wires going through the firewall with no protection. all the wires for the after market radio were just twisted together, not even soldered. didnt even attempt to hide the antenna cable for the CB. all fixed now.

Go out and measure the diameter of the axle housings. 2.5" is D35, 3" is 8.25
