Okay tough guy maybe I should have called them "Life series" instead of lifetime but yeah they're non greaseable like the OEM u-joints because they are the OEM ujoints.
Whatever floats your boat. You'll probably never see close to what those original Spicer joints got for mileage out of those Napa joints even if they do have a grease zerk on them.

Awhile back I had some pieces Line-X'ed.
Factory Running boards that were green to make them black. Figured it was also a decent way to refresh door moldings, roof skid strips, and factory mud flaps.
Was thinking it would be a one and done thing. Problem is I did not realize how much I would like the look.
Then I see guys bedlining their Jeeps and like that too.
My thing is going to far with bedlining gets away from the factory looking DD I am going for.
Thinking of bedlining the rear tail light guards and the brush guard that I have yet to put on. Don't see a problem with that.
Also wondering if bumper caps, and/or fender flares, and/or the bottoms of the doors, and/or rockers would be to much.
Line-X'ing all this can get pricey. Especially the brush guard.
So awhile back I bought a rattle can of every bedliner I could.
Cleaned and scuffed up the bumper caps that I used for the test.
I was kind of hoping that one of these would be a close enough match to Line-X as to not make my OCD go into overdrive.
No. But not surprised by that. But thinking if it really bothered me I could ghost the Line-X'ed pieces with the rattle can of choice and maybe get away with making them look similar.
My impressions are that the regular Duplicolor is more gritty then the rest. Which I think when you are bedlining you want. Plus it laid down nice.
The fancy Duplicolor kind of puddled up coming out but dried just fine.
Now both of these are less glossy.
The Herculiner has about the same feel as the fancy Duplicolor. But is a more glossy black.
The Rustoleum was the least gritty but was more glossy pretty much matching the Herculiner.
As far as the tail light guards and brush guard go if I bedline them thinking just going to be the regular Duplicolor.
I took some shots but not really sure if you will see what I can up close and personal.
When all this cures I will scuff it on the asphalt driveway just to see what happens.
This was more a test for how it looks then how it will hold up.

Started with a brush and shop vac... didn't take long to just break out the power washer... Dirtiest job on the jeep since installing the lift.

Raptor is the king you can get it in different colors and sheens up to super glossy and even a clear. It is a little pricey around $25 a can and a can dosen't go far but if you have a compressor check out the e-Bay link below it's a real deal usually $130 or so, I'm putting gloss black on my roof if I ever get finished sanding off the brushed on rustoleum paint the PO put on it .

Don't want glossy stuff though.
Except maybe if I were to do the bottom of the doors or the whole Jeep

Not all today, but over the past few weeks I’ve been dialing in the ‘91.
New front winch and rear tire carrier bumpers, flush mount amber spots in the front, rear backup flood.
Still need to wire and finish install of winch, and plenty more to do, but it’s coming along nicely.

At the moment I am leaning towards doing the tail light guards and the brush guard with the regular grittier Duplicolor.
If I do the bumper caps I am think of using the fancy Duplicolor.
I don't want either of these to be glossy.
I might break down and buy the Raptor in the spray can that papablista posted to just check it out.
Thinking if I do the bottoms of the doors, considering the fender flares too, maybe these should be a more glossy bedliner.
Just a shot of the door moldings with the Line-X. I like the contrast and get a lot of compliments on them.

I came to the sad realization that I will eventually need to replace my oil pan, and that will include taking apart the entire front end suspension to do so. I just can NOT get the flange to stop leaking and some of the bolts are stripped anyways. I have a feeling this will wait until it gets cooler. The humidity had it feeling like 108 degrees today.

Moved the GF's Jeep to North Carolina. Took it to Uwharrie.
I've GOT to get mine done so I can safely run more trails. This place is amazing!
