Oh! Back on topic because I actually accomplished something today when I was supposed to be working.
After more than two years of "I'll get to it," I finally removed the A/C from my YJ. I also removed some old stuff I had under the dash and then relocated my CB to a better position. There's so much more room now!
I also swapped out my dead radio for a spare that I keep for testing. Looks like I'll be ordering a new Kenwood soon.
And I found a loose wire that a PO tapped into a constant 12V wire. It shorted out on the parking brake arm, and I think that's why I've been blowing fuses.

Killjoy
What do you do with the bars that attach to the windshield when you fold it down? Do they come off?

Yep, they're in the garage. I still have the rear cage behind the seats

I figured the rear cage was still attached. That would be an awful lot of work just to fold down the windshield if not.
That happened on my driver's side shock. Ran a die over it. Held fine ever since.
Replaced the exhaust manifold/header.
Only took 4 hours. I don't know if that's slow or not. I'm thinking it's slow-***.
Also installed custom ground from a buddy who wires yuuge panel boxes. Very gauge. Such insulation. Wow.

Tested the MJ fuel pressure. Has 22psi instead of 14psi for some reason. Also, not producing a lot of vacuum below 1600rpms. Adjusted my idle to 1600 to sit at 18Hg steady. Need to check my cam lobes and cam timing. Below 1600, she only has 10Hg
