So I received 2 4 slot factory bezels today. Paid $100 for the 2. Shipped. Here is the catch. They are from an England. The Jeeps there have rear fog lights so they have 4 slot bezels. My curiosity got the better of me, been happening a little to much lately, so I bought them. Well The part number I believe the American ones to be is 4897505AG. These have 56007452AD stamped in them. So I could tell from the pictures that the lighter and power plug are different. See the first (one from England) and second picture (3 slot bezel to show the plugs). Third picture is one of my 3 slot ones next to one of the 4 slot ones. So here is the weird thing. Not only are the plugs different but the way they go in is too. There are slots in the bezel and ridges on the plugs. Can only go in one way. But the layout of ridges on the English plugs are different then the layout on the American plugs. So technically they don't fit. Good news is that they can be pushed in at it is a tight enough fit so they will stay. Fourth shot is a English bezel with American plugs.

Damn, every one I've ever found has had phillips screws in them. Oh well, being over 20+yrs old, hard to find something that hasn't been serviced I guess.

I've pulled a lot of sets from junkyards, and here's what I've found in my experience:

When all eight screws in a truck match, they're Torx

When a truck has a mix of different screws, they're Phillips

So some of you might remember that I scored some leather removable headrest heated seats, both power seat bases, the harness, and the switch for $80. Not even sure if they work but I had to buy them. Thing that has been bugging me is that the switches go in the ash tray location. I smoke. So I was trying to figure out what to do about losing the ash tray. I know they make generic ones that go in cup holders. Even found a couple used Mopar ones on ebay. I took a real close look at my '00 parts catalog. Found that they offered an ash tray when you had the heated seats. The part number was not the same as the Ebay ones. Which would have been nice cause they were not expensive. Well I probably got the last new one in existence.

Finally got a front bumper back on the Comanche. Not perfect, but it's there and I plan to replace it whenever I can afford an aftermarket bumper.

I can weld, but I do not have access to a welder that could stick it together. I plan to get an ares fab bumper with a hoop.

So drove out to Jersey to pick up some Icons. Might have overpaid a bit but......
With gas and tolls about $125 for the 4. Better shape then I expected though. Second two shots are the same rim which is the worst. Couple little curb rash spot on 2 others and one is almost perfect. Now I have to get out to Long Island at some point to pick up the other 4 I bought for $60.
