Nope. This one is really clean. Only rust is surface rust on the suspension. The body, floors, quarter panels, rockers, and uni-frame rails are clean.

in other news, i reorganized the garage today and moved some of my tools around. Waiting for POR15 to dry on the bottom of my drivers side front door (I feel like ralph77 is smiling right now as he reads the words: "waiting for POR15 to dry", ha).
Finshed up with my brake pad and rotor job a few days ago. Got the wheels back on last night. Probably put in the boostwerks shift linkage next.

I bought my third Cherokee yesterday. Pretty stoked. 97 2dr Sport, ax15, np231, dana 30, 8.25. Stock as a rock and only has 138k miles. Super mint! It's going to be my new DD, so nothing too crazy planned. Maybe, I mean maybe, I'll leave it at stock height, regear to 3:73s, streetable limited slip rear, selectable locker front, and 30s.

Solid front articulation though! Looks like the flares help too. How much travel do those shocks have? And I feel you about the shackle angle - my old 99 had the same problem an was on stock shackles. So frustrating because you know the springs have more movement in them.

Just seafoamed my new to me black 2000 classic. Half a bottle in the throttle body, very surprised how little smoke came out with almost 190k miles. My old blue 2001 sport had 174k when I seafoamed it 5 years ago, that was an absolute smoke grenade. I guess this old rusty jeep was cleaner than I thought.

Removed the old tire carrier, cleaned her up, and installed the new one this weekend.
The old one didn't have recovery points, was thin, was rusting through, the carrier spindle was shot, and 5 of the 8 bolts were either missing or sheared off. (I bought it used four years ago for $100.)
The new one is Fishbone Offroad. I got the whole setup shipped to my door for something like $250 with a free shirt included. I knew it wouldn't be the best quality at that price, but I didn't realize how bad it would be.
Not one single hole is tapped straight. The threads on every one of the "Grade 8.8" bolts galled, and the heads were rounding off like sheet metal. They didn't include all the hardware on the hardware list, but that didn't matter because the instructions told me to use hardware that was neither on the hardware list nor in the box!
It's still a huge improvement over what I had before, but I can't recommend them in good conscience to anyone. Great group of guys. I met them at the York Jeep Show this year, and I'd love to drink a few and hang out with them. But they won't be seeing my money again.
Anywho, some pictures:

They aren't showing up on the app, but they work on the website. Seems to be typical when I attach photos in the app
