Hehe, I wish I could get a 32 in there. Haven't really researched if it's possible or not and all the configurations there in.

I really doubt it. When I had 33s it wouldn't even come close. Even with the 31, if I lay the seat down I have to loosen the spare before I can put it back up. Latch the seat, then tighten the spare back down.

You can... just not standing up like that. I have a 32" spare in mine laying down on the floor.

Anchored down? Or will it make a Justin sammich in the event of a collision?

It fits very snug between the seat and the hatch, so it's unlikely. I'm planning on making an anchor to secure it to the floor just to be sure though.

Snug? I have my 35" spare on the floor out in the back of the XJ

Yea, I'm just not a fan of roof racks and the tire carrier stuff is so expensive. I like the idea of having it in the back.

Lol, ever been in a rollover? I have, nothing is ever snug enough!

Even in my last wreck, got a mild concussion from an empty AK mag. I stopped, it kept moving at 60mph.

In my rollover, the factory tie-downs in the cargo floor ripped out. My 97lb floor jack was so close to my head after rolling 1.5x that my nose touched it when I turned to look out the passenger window

Please take cargo management seriously

I don't crawl or plan on it so no need for beadlocks or rock rings. I just like the looks of these.

I don't have an issue with the "poser" argument. I hate that they trap water and rust, and they trap mud and cause imbalance
