Man those things suck compared to my truck lites. I can't believe anyone would spend money on those.... just kidding if they work they work. As long as they have a good cut off I don't care. It's the light bar headlights that bother me.

I think people seem to think that my Jeep is in better condition then it is.
Don't get me wrong she is in really good shape. But not rust free.
But the bottoms of both passenger doors are pretty crappy. Where the metal from the outer skin folds onto the inner is non existent.
Also the rear passenger door clear coat is been peeling.
These compared to mine are much better. That inner lip is mostly there but there is some bubbling on the outside of the front passenger door in the corner.
These are better then any I have seen in the boneyard in the last 7 years though.
So I am going to clean them up see how they look.
Then go see my body guy to see what he thinks.
I already know the look I am going to get from him though.
Figure if nothing else got some regulators, Back doors have privacy glass. Some extra switches. The one mirror that is still on one door is heated.
Some Agate panels. Some extra door molding.
I don't know.

Ignore any funny looks. These look great!

They really don't. If I took some better shots you would be able to see.
Really only in interested in the passenger side front and back.
But the guy did not want to sell them separately and for $100 figured what the hell.
The front passenger door is kinda scuffed. Much I think can be taken out with a good compounding.
A skill I am trying to improve on. Plus the small rust patch on the outside of that door.
Passenger back not so bad.
When spring hits I will pull them out and see what is what and go from there.

I have been struggling to get my rear end removed from the truck. I have a LOT of work back there, and would like to do it on a bench. I have all the bolts loosened, but I have some kind of mental block about removing the brake lines and stuff like that. (any detailed suggestions are great, btw)

While I was out there, I installed a set of these that I got from amazon. I gotta say, before i started looking, I thought these parts would be more than the $10-15 I see them for. I don't know why anyone would put up with a sagging gate like I did. Snapped right in, and hold the liftgate like a pro.

Small fix today... removed and installed a new windshield wiper switch with intermittent switch. The intermittent switch on the original one finally crapped out and the first position on the lever was getting worn out from using it as the "intermittent" switch when weather required.
Got a good deal on a new one online and so far so good.

Tried not to cry as I stared at a barren engine bay on the Comanche. It served me well and pissed a LOT of people off when they found out I was only a 4cyl and still pulled them out and followed everywhere. But onward to bigger things.
