Need room for 3 and then maybe as many as 6. Depending on what I end up doing.
I think I understand the 30 amps max per circuit, can put up to a 30 amp in each slot, but what does 80 max amp rated mean? Then there is the how do I know what I need in terms of specs like that and plus as I stated would like some room to grow if neccessary.
They are sweet looking but come with a decent price tag too.
Again my problems come from the fact I don't have a clue as to what I need now, might need in the future, let alone I don't even know what I am doing.
Been leaning towards something like this and just maybe fab a metal bar to mount relays.

The box can handle 80 continuous amps being pulled through it from all circuits combined.
I really wish the price price tag wasn’t so high. I only make about $25 on the whole setup. It’s very time consuming especially with connectors on all the circuits, but it’s also really expensive for the XJ world. I only started selling these initially because I had so many spare terminals and parts after building mine. I figured a few other folks may be interested.
Honestly there are other options out there that I just can’t compete with. Big companies can buy their wire and terminals etc in very large quantities and have Chinese robots assemble everything which leaves them some room for profit at the same price point im at. But for me, I like knowing that all my connections are soldered and sealed properly.

How would you know if 80 amps was enough? I am thinking that is a lot but I don't have a clue. Also how many of those relays at the link I posted can I put in your box?

You’d just add up the amp draw on all your accessories.

For the first time in a while, I've done something worth mentioning here!
I didn't do anything to the Jeep specifically, but I've finally ordered myself a toolbox for the garage in my new place. Now I can get all my tools up off the floor and out of the various bags and boxes they're in, and I can finally have them all in one organized place.
Plus, this will free up a lot of space that's currently being wasted. That means I'll have room to get my stuff out of storage, and I can stop paying $125/mo to Uhaul. The box will pay for itself pretty quickly!
I didn't do anything to the Jeep specifically, but I've finally ordered myself a toolbox for the garage in my new place. Now I can get all my tools up off the floor and out of the various bags and boxes they're in, and I can finally have them all in one organized place.
Plus, this will free up a lot of space that's currently being wasted. That means I'll have room to get my stuff out of storage, and I can stop paying $125/mo to Uhaul. The box will pay for itself pretty quickly!

Getting tools and a few spare parts ready for a trip this week to pick up another Jeep, a white '91. It is a two owner XJ Laredo that spent much of its life in California. It is in decent rust free condition but in need of a bunch of deferred maintenance. Hopefully the hard part is not driving it home, including through Chicago, to Indiana. Wish me luck.

Doing it myself would be nice, but with no garage or any space other than my laundry room it would be a little hard. Will be bad enough doing the swap outside.
