Worked a little more on my half doors, then painted the horrendous yellow wheels on the 52...

I've seen some really nice rides painted yellow, and when I do, I ask myself why...can't explain why, just makes me want to vomit, lol....
I even bought a Honda Hawk GT 650, if you know bikes, it was not popular, but way ahead of it's time. I always wanted one, and finally found one, at a garage sale, running and clean, for $1200, but guess what, yellow. I put it in the garage and started saving for a paint job, then a buddy offered me 2k in payments for it as it sat. No brainer, took the deal, he had it a week and laid it down, I didn't even GAF. Never got the rest of the money. Didn't care, because it was yellow, lol
I ended up repo-ing it, and sold it for parts, barely broke even.
Yellow is for bananas. Haha

Made some maintenance discoveries.
Finally founda leak! Yay, it'sa real Jeep now!
Transmission cooler line has a pinhole leak somewhere. Didn't have time this morning to see which one, but hopefully it won't require too much time losing warmth to the driveway through my back.
Driver door lock/latch needs cleaned and winter-safe lube. Fixed it with a torch from a safe distance so I could drive to work, but when the ambient temps staying in the 30s there's no other fix really, unless I want to slam my door into an early complete replacement...
Also the aux fan is jacked—making the whole cabin vibrate, which is something.

I just wanted to share, that on my trip to Moab via the Rim Rocker Trail my aux. fan started acting up the last day before we were heading home. We just limped home. I thought I was going to have to replace it. But it turned out that there was enough red dirt clinging to the blades that it through it out of balance. I would wash it at a car wash before tearing into it?
this one was the original fan on my XJ project. It emptied brown coolant all over the engine bay (everything was brown inside) before detonating, and that probably didn't do it any favors on top of its age. Then it sat for years before I bought it. DIdn't charge the AC till later summer, and notice it can't keep the condenser cool, but the defrost still works. But that vibration… High time for a new one

Did you ever solve your exhaust flange thickness issues? Are those the spacers to fix yours? I know we were both going through eBay headers at the same time. I ended up just paying more for the Napa one and haven't had any issues.
