They went back, was charged 25% restock fee. So they won't be contacted again.

Well, got my TC linkage adjusted up, all is working as it should now. It's smooth, but now that ive had one, a Boostwerks kit is in her future.

Ran a jack around to each corner and flexed it as much as the jack and a block of wood will allow, all good in the clearance dept.

Then just some oddball stuff. Adjusted all the doors, got em sealing up better, and evened out the gaps. Chased down an irritating chirping noise, ended up being where the top of the back seat latches in. Threw the rear bumper caps back on for now.
Know what? That interior combination would also look fantastic in yours!

Praise the Jesus you don't have the stock steering still!!!! lol I swear Jeep was intentionally trying to kill people with that design...

Got the right angle on the hood when opened too ! I'm only 5'9" and had to tippy toe and stretch to pull the hood down, not to mention, walking around to the prop rod !!! Kits are $$$ ,,, not anymore !!! I did this upgrade for under $30 !!! 😎 Ahhh, the POWER OF EBAY !!! I tried to upload a video, but mine's in the wrong format ? Here's some pics !!! Gonna do a full detailed install guide in the modified XJ forum...

It's not a kit. I bought individual pieces, made my own. I did a thread in the modified XJ forum with details. Any length struts will work, shorter are better. 12-14". Then do a search for 10mm ball stud mounts. You may end up spending less than I did. Don't know for sure what you mean on the steering ? I did the ZJ steering tie rod upgrade. Not currently interested in going to one ton nor OA.

I am glad you brought that up. Cause that might be problem with my Coverkings too. I am going to have to scope that out. These are the things that you don't think about until it is too late. LOL. The second link I just posted cause there was more pictures of black seats in tan interiors. Thinking there was also some XJ's with ZJ or WJ black seats in tan interiors too.

It shouldn't be too bad.. The frame rails are good.. the back cargo is good..just the pans are shot. It just look worst then it really is..After cutting and sanding we will see the full story of how bad it is.

Im just regretting that body seam sealant smell when grinding and sanding it all off.

Do you want door panels like mine only in a manual? I ask not because I have some but if so there are couple things I think you should know. IMO you only want ones from '99 to '01. Technically called Camel. '97 and '98 are called Saddle. I think I have seen some people refer to it as Spice but in my '97/'98 parts catalog it says Saddle. It is more orange looking. I saw that color in a '97 and ehhh. Couple shots for you. Saddle first. Now I know this is from a Limited or Country. The wood grain and the lighter color panel around the door handle make that clear. Guessing that in a regular one like mine it would be darker. But lighter then mine cause '97 and '98 are Mist Gray and '99 to '01 are Agate. Second shot is Camel. Grabbed it off Ebay. I do not have a decent shot to show the difference. Hoping this will at least give you an idea of what I am talking about.
