Heh. I considered that. I drove it on the highway yesterday for 3 hours at nearly 80° and the coolant temp was right where it always is. The real test will be up a long hill with the A/C on at 90°+. That may have to wait until next summer.
I also took it out for about 20 miles of beach driving, and while driving downwind the temps got up to around 215°. But that's what always happens in that situation since I'm basically matching the wind speed (it was windy) and relying solely on the fans to pull in air.
I will say, though, that those lights are insane, especially at very far distances.

Where did you get the terminal covers? I've got XJ Wonder's cable set as well, and I'd like to cover the terminals for safety. Positive side for sure, but I see you've got both.
Put jeep back on all 4 Wheels for the first time since June. It’s been a long summer. Gonna start a build thread and back fill all the info. I learned a lot this summer.

Ebay, came as a set. Extra set of terminals, the covers and the felt washers. I think around $20 or less ?
So today I decided to get the passenger power seat base in. The first set of seats was just power for the driver's seat. The second set are heated and power on both sides. Now I did not put the heated seats in. I just replaced the manual passenger with the power seat base. But the harnesses are different when it is just a power driver's seat and both seats are power. I just ran the harness around the back of the console on top of the carpet to the driver's side. Plan was if I get to sound deadening the floor I would run it properly then. Was going to do the same with the dual power seat harness but with all the extra connections cause of the heated seats I was afraid something would get damaged. So I ripped what I had to so I could run the wire more properly. The 2 connectors for the heated seat switches are tucked up under the ash tray. The heated seat bezel replaces that when you have them.
I also realized something along time ago. The seat belt that is attached to the base is different for power and manual. When I first did the driver's seat I replaced the seat belt on the power base with the one from my original manual base. Logic behind that was that it is wired to the seat belt indicator in the cluster and I knew that one worked. I noticed right away it seemed tight getting the seat belt buckled. Like is was to far down. Then I realized my mistake. So I finally got around to swapping that out.
Passenger seat still needs to be swapped from manual to power and then both seats put in. Figure I will button everything else up and give the Jeep a decent vacuum since everything is wide open.

I need to find out why my pass side seat heater works fine, and drivers side the light on switch just flashes. Leather seats are cold in the winter. And rear wiper switch died again, this will only swipe once and no washer, back to the jy again.

The light flashing means there is something wrong. Like you did not know already. LOL. My guess is that you have a broken wire in the bottom. But I would check all the connections first. I doubt it is the relay or the SHIM because the passenger side works. But who knows for sure. Figure that part is what takes the most abuse. You are going to have to pull the seat out, most likely separate the back from the bottom, remove all the springs to separate the seat cover with the foam from the pan, look at it from the inside, and see if there are any burn marks in there indicating a broken wire.
