What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Newbie
Got her running and on the road !
Just registered and got my jeep on the road today . I bought it back in janurary for abt 1500 bucks . I had to do a ton of work to it tho New radiator, all 4 ball joints, battery, serpentine belt, water pump, thermostat gasket, u joints, crank sensor, and I had a guy patch up the frame . All i need is a computer (has a finicky starting issue but fires right up) and a valve cover gasket (leaks a little oil) and a wheel bearing and maybe some emissions crap . Overall a perfectly good jeep . I wanna put a lift kit in it soon

What?! Can I have all your parts? Lol!
Hahaha!
Looks 10X better already.
As for what I did to mine today? Took it out for a little drive and cursed at it. Damn airbag light came on and I discovered 3 drops of coolant on my trans line. Suspect it's the water pump. Just put that Mopar one on there, what, 8 months ago? &%#@+!!! I'll have to look into more closely later.
Oh well, can't complain. It's only the third failure of any kind I've had with it in 6 yrs. Not too bad a record for a 20 y.o. vehicle with 216k on it.

Get a can of Fluid Film and give them a good spray. Did mine about a month ago and about 2 days later remembered that I wanted to do that. So I get to go back in at some point in time to do so.

I replaced both of the washer fluid pumps but because my fenders are cut I didn't like how exposed they were so...
I had an old motorcycle license plate lying around that fit perfect.

Starter's going in tonight hopefully, along with the rest of the block wiring.

I thought about my XJ floor replacement project today. I believe it's going to turn out pretty good for my first major repair on the XJ.
Well hopefully it will be better than the DIY wrangler hardtop I seen today.

Replacing my basic OEM gauge cluster with the worthless "idiot lights" with one that has all the gauges. Easy swap on a 99, just waiting for it to get here.
