For being extremely budget friendly, iron man makes a good tire. We sell tons of them with good reviews. Even better then many mid tier all terrain and mud terrains. They are starting to get recommendations to customers from me over other higher priced tires if you are looking for bang for your buck.

Yeah, my tire guy recommended them to me when I was searching for a set of Mud Claws. Said they were a better tire and cost about the same. I had never heard of them so I kinda brushed them off about 'em. I went with the Treadwrights and I'm happy with them, but if I'd have known about the Iron Mans then what I've been hearing now, it may have been a different outcome.

why mud tires on a daily driver that sees that much miles? I hate road noise, I wouldn't be able too handle it for a drive that long haha. Plus they are going to wear quick.

Parent company Cooper Tires owns Hercules Tires and make the Iron Man Brand. I have been selling Cooper and Hercules for many years now and they have been very reliable for the price. They first started branding tires as Iron Man in the Commercial and Off Road equipment market and are now moving into the Auto and Light Truck Market.

Got into fender bender, rear end got dinged hard, right passenger taillight is busted. Original 27yo plastic crumbles like hard clay! But the PO rhinolined the taillights in, so even with it broke it's gonna be a p.i.t a. to remove. On the plus side the bumper took the brunt of the impact, no damage at all to the quarter panel.

Can't do much of anything until daylight tomorrow, so I pulled the center console and cleaned it up. Feels a little better, I'm sure it's glad to have 24 years of grit off of it. Also, I just realized that next year it'll be a 25 year old vehicle... Does that mean I can register it as a historical/antique vehicle (25 years is the cut off, here)???

It never hurts to do a quick "who makes?" search, because in reality there are only about six or so manufacturers who make all the tires globally. Back in the 90's there was a "private label" fad and trend happening, Everyone was having a major manufacturer put their smaller outlet brand on the tires similar to what "Big O" did and sell these much cheaper. There were hundreds and It was so mixed up dealers had to track down who actually built the tire by the DOT number. I found some good wholesale deals back in those days, I could get top premium grade for average grade prices just because of the less popular brand molded into them even though they came from the very same factory. And it is still somewhat the same now, when a brand name slows in sales they rebrand the same tires and create a whole new market for the the new brand.

And dealers like Martlor and I help them with this because we got the skinny and want to sell tires too. lol

I just ordered a Factory Service Manual on eBay. I've fallen deep enough down into the Jeep rabbit hole that I figured it was time.
