Put in new extended bumpstops, but they don't seem to be working very well. They seem to just bend and let the suspension continue to compress. I don't understand how to get a good bumpstop set up with this 3 link it seems the geometry for the bumps is all off and won't work well. I was hoping to keep my fender flares, but I may have to cut my fenders since I can't get bumps to work.

So I wanted to take it easy today. I ran my tranny and transfer case breathers up into the engine compartment. Did the rear diff breather awhile back. Used the top hat breathers like the front diff breather uses for the other three. Then I put the double sided tape on the Line-X'ed roof skid strips. Tomorrow I will wash the Jeep, clean with the adhesive remover, use some adhesive promoter, and get them on. Hopefully.

What kind of hose do you use for your breathers? And where do you get the top hats/fittings for them? I need to fix my front breather and move the others, but just haven't yet. Thanks!

I used fuel line because it is the only stuff we had in 5/16". Those breathers are pretty big. Still had to do the brake cleaner trick to get them in. When you spray rubber hose with with break cleaner it does something too it to make it easier to get something in that is a little oversized. But you have to do it quick before the brake cleaner evaporates. Silicone spray or Vaseline might work too. So the rear I did awhile ago and just ran a whole new line and used 2 5/16" fuel line clamps to secure it. Checked my files and I bought 11'. No idea how close I was and how much of a off cut I had.

The tranny I cut right behind the breather. Used this to splice.

https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NTH90554

Used a 1/4" fuel line clamp on the old tranny hose side.

https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7051225

And 2 of the 5/16" clamps. One on the new hose side of the tranny breather and one for the top hat breather itself. That is such a tight fit a clamp probably isn't needed there

Transfer case same splice, cutting right behind the check valve, and 5/16" clamps all around. I bought 4' of hose for each one. Probably could have gotten by with 3' for each. In hindsight instead of running them over to where the diff breathers are probably should have just secured them the same way but to the loom above the coil bar. I have an '00. Thinking 2' for each would work if I did that. Part # for the top hat breather is J5352955. Bought them from my Jeep Dealership. Hope that is clear and helps.

Default Installed a classic instruments sn74 under the hood

I installed a classic instruments sn74 under the hood to correct my speedo being off about 8 mph. Nice to know I'm doing 60 now instead of 52 lol. 😁

So when I had my guy deal with my surface rust issues on the roof and hood I pulled off the roof skid strips. Like the door molding I was debating on whether to put them back on. Not like I carry anything up there. The thought of how the Line-X'ed door molding would look on my Jeep made me do that. The fact that when I asked how much more I would be charged to do the roof skid strips on top of the other stuff and he said give me $10 cinched that. So they are back on. I see a lot of Line-X in my future. I picked this up awhile back on a whim. Was like $32 at Home Depot. I saw it in a pop ad off to the side on my email site. I thought it might come handy so I just bought it. I have gotten so much use out of this it is ridiculous.
