Very creative..... I guess.

I'm working this week on The Great Frame Rail Replacement. Taking the right rear frame rail out of my 94 and putting it into my 97. I hope. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Anyway, after pulling out the rear carpet, I found a strange yellow square of plastic glued to the floor...

Hmmmm. What's under it? Somebody's been busy with a 4 1/2" hole saw!

And they messed it alllll up!

Well, I guess that explains why I was able to do my rear shocks so easily last time....

Whatcha tink, folks? Anybody ever seen this before?

Wow nice. It almost looks like someone had a home-brew fix for something there. Definitely leaves me curious for sure.

Just think, Mark..
Somebody actually looked at that and said "yeah, that's good " lol

I have heard of it, but never really seen it done properly. I considered doing something similar over my fuel tank for accessing the pump module. Figured that for the amount of work it would take to do it right, it's easier to just drop the tank, haha

If you use Airtex pumps, it would be a great thing to do.

Nice, I remember what a pain in the butt it was to do that the long way.
