Default Wanting 35s on my xj

Ok guys idk if I'm posting this in the right place but anyways. I recently put a 6.5" RC lift on my xj an I took the 33s off of my ZJ an put them on there. I think that the 33s look to small an that 35s would add a meaner look. Is it possible to run 35s on 6.5" an still have clearance??

its possible to run just about any tire on just about any lift if you set it up right.. im at 6.5" and 35s. before trimming i rubed the front of my flares.. after trimming it made a world of diffrence.. i have about 5-6" of uptravel still. could still trim more of if i needed to.

Where all did you end up having to trim?

i cant remember how much i took off but i cut and folded the rear and cut the front. maybe took 1-2 inches off front and rear. i trimmed all around from one end to the other and opened the whole wheel well, not just one specific spot.

youll be fine. 6.5 is plenty of room for 35s. youll have to trim tho. people run 4.5 on 35s all the time

Start trimming and get wheels with less back spacing. I can turn lock to lock and do not rub at all and I do not rub at full flex either running 33's on a 3.5" lift. I'm planning on 35's next at my current height
