Value of 89 Wagoneer Lmtd?
Hey, been driving this for about a year and put maybe 4k miles on it. Odometer reads 96k and I got it from the original owner. He was meticulous with maintenance and just about everything works. Its an 89 wagoneer lmtd and its pretty loaded, has the wood grain sides, gray paint, tires are pretty good and I replaced all the lug nuts with extended ones from Quadratec, 6 way power seats both sides, maroon interior, p/w, p/l etc. When I got it one of the lower control arm brackets let go and the control arm was hanging. I picked up a bracket from quadratec and had it welded on. It has the 4.0, a/c works and converted to 134. The only thing that doesnt work is the cruise, i replaced the stalk but that didnt do it. never tried the cassette deck so cant vouch for it but the radio works fine and the power antenna works fine. Also all the oringal Jensen speakers were rotted out so I replaced them all with Boston Acoustics in the rear hatch and front door panels. Also the power door locks are a little sticky, you have to hit it 2 or 3 times for them to go up or down. I put in a brand new front and rear windshield. The rear defogger lines were all scraped and the defogger wouldnt work so I replaced the windshield. New wiper motor in back. It runs good and starts every time. The 2 biggest issues are the paint: very dull and might have been repainted. 2nd there is some rust issues at the bottom of the drivers door on each side. The PO dressed it up with a large visor over the front windshield, those chrome rain guard things above each door window also and tinted all the windows. 4WD works fine. It has a trailer hitch and a stainless push bumper up front with the fog lights mounted to it. Might have had running boards at one time but they are gone and whats left is the running lights that went along them. Only reason Im selling is I picked up a 95 GC lmtd and my 6'3" 230 lb frame fits better in that. Any idea what I should be asking? Would $1200 be high?

I'd pay $2,000 here in NY if I had the cash. I paid $2500 for my 90 XJ Laredo with 116k. Yours looks better and is more unique. There is one super clean XJ Wagoneer Limited on eBay right now.

Fricken sweet. Up here in the CO Rockies you'd get $3500 for it, easily. The dealers would have it on their lot for $4500-5000.
That is super low miles and in great g-damn shape. Where you live?

NY. New track bar and steering damper also, forgot about that. Well if I cant convince my son to take it, he says he wouldnt be caught dead in it, then I guess It'll go up for sale. I would like to thank everyone for their input.

I am in CO, too damn far for me...****. I just looked at one up here on a dealer lot. It was almost identical to yours. They were asking $4600 and it had 250k miles on it...and guess what? It sold. Us mountain-men up here love those Jeeps....and they get scooped up quick......esp a Wagoneer. I am drooling here.
I think you may want to give it a go on ebay before putting it on Craigs List.
That is a great car, in good shape and for most of us...that is very low mileage.
I have an 89 Cherokee with 250k, bought it with 180k and I thought that was low mileage, lol. IMO anything under 100k for Jeeps is low mileage. Plus it is beat to sh it* and I paid 1000 bucks for it.
IMO, If you can't get $3500 for it, keep it.

I'll be different. Honestly, I can't stand those things. I don't like the headlights, I don't love the wood and I HATE red interior. But, like has been said, there's people that love them and would pay more because of the things I don't like about it. Start at 2500 and go from there.

I once hated that wood-grain but for some reason I like it on the Cherokee's. Nostalgia? I dunno. I am not so sure those are the stock wheels but who cares...she's nice.
Hell, there was a time when I thought the box Cherokee's were ugly as sin...then I bought one and fell in love with them.

I'll agree with you on the headlights. I'm not sure what it is, but they aren't something I would desire.
I have the same color interior, tho. And it was a similar maroon exterior before I painted it.
