Id take 4500 for sure, forget fixen, just buy a new one for that. Ive seen a 2001 with 4x4 and only 125k mile for $4000, the extra 500 can be what ever else, if you can find one like that.

Well....
the problem is there are not that may jeeps around here that are in good shape. Most of them are junk or have really high miles. I like this year, body style and it only has 132K.

Hmm probably holes in your flooring making the rust happen the holes dont have to be too big and they can really start messing things up, extra when you still have the padding on the floor.

You are doing the right thing. You got lucky to get $4500. Get a repair estimate and see what you can do with the rest of the cash. I would try and get the rust repaired, engine overhauled, front repaired and maybe a cheap lift with some new tires. I wouldnt be too heart broken if someone backed into me right now with that kind of payoff.

That's nothing. Put it in the garage and tear everything off the front. Find junkyard parts and put it all back together. You could have that front fixed for less than 800 and a month of working on it when you can.
