Honestly that small of a change would maybe give you 1 mpg difference.And also as old as these jeeps are getting the accuracy of the speedo and miles is probably off also.Driving habits and keeping your jeep fully tuned up and running right can help you more in mileage then tire size change that small.

Yeah the change would be minimal if there even will be a change. Stick with 235s.

Tire size isn't as important as tire weight. Check the weight specs and pick a set that are light. Believe it or not, I've seen bigger tires that weigh less than some smaller ones (typically off-road variants).

The more unsprung weight you have, the harder your little engine works.

I agree with most of the people in this thread that the minor size difference is unlikely to kill your MPG, but if you choose a similarly-sized tire that weighs more, multiply that by 4 and you have more drag.
