Is there anyway to put in coil spacers without coil compressors?

was just wondering. Also if I cant how much does it cost to rent coil compressors

It is possible, it is like 50 bucks deposit and you get it back....rented mine at o reillys

It's possible. You'd just have to either pry a lot, which would be dangerous, or you could just drop the axle enough to decompress the springs so you could lift them off their perches. Rent the compressors. I've done it both ways, compressors are worth it. And you lose -zero- money renting them. Full monetary return.

You wont have to relocate your axle for 2 inches and just rent a coil compressor alot less work then dropping the axle

Couple years ago we pried pressure down on one side of axle at a time, put in 2" spacer and two stock rubber spring seats, about 3/4" together, fresh set of stock springs, No compressor. Needed compressor to get the Napa sourced stock springs specd for 95 V8 grand cherokee, gained another inch of lift on the XJ, also ride is stiffer but handles washboard and will flex when put to the trails test. Bought a set of compressors, you may be able to rent them also. Use them carefully, don't get rammy, a compessed spring has a tremendous amount of energy stored.
