Is there any reason these wouldn't work well on my bumper? D-ring mounts....
Well, besides that they say "Made in China". I'm gonna grind that off. They are from a boat hoist rated at 15,000 pounds. I'm gonna throw a coat of rust inhibitor on them, then a couple of coats of black Plasti-dip so the clanking does irritate the hell outta me. What do you think?

If they're rated at 7.5 tons they're more than sufficient. May just be the picture but the pins look puny, a 3/4" D ring has a 7/8" pin, what do those pins measure?
Edit: just realized the *hoist* was rated at 15k pounds. Also noticed they say 1/2 on them, that's the pin size, which I'd say is a little small for hard pulls.

i wouldn't use them.
but that's just me, i tend to take safety a little too seriously when we get crazy in our sport.
