Take the brush guard on my Jeep. I like the look but let us be frank.
Ain't really good for squat. And if it did take a hit I am thinking the damage might actually be worse.
Same with my tail light guards. Like the look but something catches it just right and it is taking the whole tail light with it.
So...... LOL.

It makes a nice step, but only if you have a receiver hitch in the first place

Oh how I don't miss the days of trying to park in the city. Squeezing er on in there, just a few inches to spare front and rear. That and the 55 mph to 0 sudden stops. Get a front receiver (stiffens the front end up nicely) and run a cargo basket front and rear. Get ones that fold so you can lock them in up or down.

Yeah I just discovered the cargo baskets last night looking at what I can do with the hitch! They Seem super useful. Theres also one that lets you hang a hammock on it, oh man, i hope those work well I think the concept is so cool... just pull up anywhere and sleep off the hitch point? no way!

I cant believe I waited this long to get a jeep!
