Something that is really cheap and and not to hard to install is a kill switch. Got one for mine. Turn the switch key, remove and they will never go anywhere.

Got the new ignition put in. Wasn't hard at all.
Got get that kill switch installed now.

There a link to this switch? I was just thinking of a simple flick switch or something. This sounds more advanced.

hamilton. there's your answer.
xj's are huge on the theft list in this area. most end up on the reserve.

good to see they didn't get yours. maybe they got scared of the new york plates.

Some people are stupid i had a old 78 f150 get broken in to in front of my house over night.They busted out the drivers window the door wasn't locked to steal a radio that didn't even work.I was more mad it happened in front of my house over night.

Funny you say the Rez. We were on upper James/Hyw6. Just down the road. Don't think the plates scared em. Lol. I certainly would of if I caught em messing with my ****.

Agreed. Hatch was unlocked. The more I think about it the more I believe they got scared off or didn't know what was there. Rubbermaid container full of tools and a new. Unused tourQue wrench.

I've heard a few people who tout those blinking dash lights for scaring away would be thieves. My neighbour being one.

Possibly the worst thief ever? Cherokees are by far one of the easiest vehicles to steal, and this lowlife couldn't even manage that? That guys going places in life.......

Glad he didn't take it, time to wire in a fuel pump cutoff switch somewhere?
