An open letter of thanks to all on here who offered advice !
No, I have not worked on it for all that time, only on and off but trying to avoid a thousand outlay for a new PCM ,
I got to thinking on all that various auto electricians had told me to do?
Ok after changing CamPS and CKS no luck ,then one of them said it could be coil ,to which I said its only been on a week???
In short I ignored that,, and proceeded to reload the parts cannon ,every thing I could think of ?
Three hours ago I said F&%K it and decided to put old 28 year old factory coil back in AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP !!!
Idled away happily for 3,/4 of an hour ,and with my heart in my mouth switched off !!!
Guess what? it fired up and ran again!
What you guys can take from this is there are two kinds of coil ,factory one has double the ohms output compared to
a good aftermarket one! (Thank you CC Ken) and also everybody else !

PS also put new cam position sensor in ,but put old one back again! Jeep is soon up for sale with a trailer load of
parts cannon ammo
