I am in the process of building up my 2000 xj. It's a teal xj sport in pretty good shape. It needs a motor so I have begun building up a Stroker for it. I am having a hard time picking a color for it as well as what paint to use. Please post some pics of your motor paint jobs. I know it's a stupid detail, but when you build a motor it's something to be proud of and I want it to look good. Thanks!

The Peep is clockin 558000+ km (346000 mile). Try to keep it clean, constant yearly service to maintain gaskets and seals. Couple pressure washes helps. Easy Off Oven Cleaner and scrubbing really does nice work on the interior of a rocker cover, rinse it well between and after applications, wear gloves. My next rocker is getting a copper engine enamel paint, just like the copper top battery that won't quit. I also use dish detergent a little watered down in spritzer bottle to help degrease the engine before hosing it down.

Scotty16 is building a really nice engine, colour co-ordinated with his red and black exterior of the Zero. Check it.

I would agree with ya but this one came with a broke Chevy 2.8 so this one really isn't a cross breed. :pinch:
