Here's my custom sub enclosure in the rear cubby. I wanted to add some lows, but didn't want to give up ANY rear cargo area because I sometimes haul my 145 pound Mastiff around. I also wanted it to look like it could have come form the factory that way.

For the record, I cut the quarter panel (leaving just the "cap" at the tailgate) so that I could utilize the space in the fenderwell. The sub enclosure extends to about 1 inch from the outer skin. It would work better with a 10" sub but I had an Infinity 12" sitting in my garage. Eventually, I'll stick a 10" in there and just make a plate to cover the 12" hole. The sealed enclosure (1.25 ft²) was designed for a JL 10W7AE-3.

Thanks. Most of this was cut using a $300 Rigid table saw from Home Depot but I take great pride in making sure it's well maintained and aligned so when I cut something it comes out the way I want it to.

I would like to put a 10 in that area, though.
