Rough Country New Products - gasp
Ok so i am not a big fan of RC. Like at all. I install their products at work, mostly lifts, and quality wise, they are lacking. However, some of their "bling" is ok. I have their front xj bumper, mostly because i get a big discount, but it has worked well.
anyway, they just released new armor for the xj. Front and rear quarter panel armor for $200 and a rear bumper as well. May be worth a look to compare to other companies. Just thought i would spread the word. I thought i may be a Guinea pig for the rear bumper but i am still undecided lol |
Time will tell how the fitting of the armor panels will work. But they don't look bad and the rear bumper looks good to say the least.

I was actually eyeballing that bumper today as I’m in the market for one. Id be interested in how it ties into the subframe and how high the hitch is compared to a regular after market hitch. Also, what are the pros and cons of the front bumper, martlor? I happen to think it looks pretty sharp but I don’t know anyone that owns one. |

I havent had issues with them, but something to keep in mind. Also sticks out quite a bit. I had to add the bull bar accessory to it to not make it looo as bad...other then that, i cant complain |
Go to their website and read the fine print. It says STARTING at 199.95. Price goes up depending on what features you want, and really jumps up if you have a 97+.
Almost $500 for a full set. Not that it's a bad price, but it's the old bait and switch at work. |
The $199 price is only for the front 2 fenders it looks like.
$299 for the rear only. If you want all 4, the price is $489.95 Not a bad price, but I still think the Rustys ones are the best, and Dirtbound Offroad |
RC states the quarter panel is made from 10g and 3/16" in two different sections. What are they really made of?
