Default rough country 2" budget lift?

I am thinking of installing this budget lift on my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited. What do y'all think of it?

Be prepared for the Rough Country bashing to start in 3,2,1...

No, they're fine, but people on this forum think just because an RC lift doesn't cost as much as a BDS or Rubicon Express lift they must be junk.

10-4 on that, I understand now. I have seen them advertised, and watch some tutorial videos on installing them. I thought that would serve me good for hunting this year, while I save up to go a little bigger. I want to go 3.5 - 4. But I also want it suitable to drive on the road too

When you're ready for a larger lift I recommend stepping up to a long arm kit. It's gonna cost quite a bit more, but you will be happier with the ride and handling.

Wondering about tire size. What is the biggest you can go, with it stock.

You might be able to fit a 30 inch tire with some minor trimming.

Adding a two inches of lift would help with that?

No problem. I'm planning on doing a Rough Country long arm lift on my ZJ next month so I can run 32's. I would rather spend the money now with the big lift and be done with it. I had a budget boost on it when I bought the Jeep, but the front end was pretty worn out and sloppy so the Jeep handled like crap.

My plans in future are a good lift, but I want to keep it highway ready too. I have been in some that sway a lot because of the shocks being so soft. I know u want to keep it soft for off roading but I dint plan on just using it like that.
