RIP Fog light
Well at a party last night some drunk ******* in a wrangler backed into my jeep then tore up my friends lawn. We ended up chasing him down and bringing him back to the house so i could get a better look at my jeep and check the damage.
Luckily he barely hit it and just my right baja, walmart special, fog light went out. The glass isn't cracked or anything even though it was knocked off the support.
So my question is, can i just replace the bulb on those lights or should i just get 2 more fog lights and throw one on the back for when i'm backin up with my presidential tints?

You should get a new set and do this but with one. It works amazingly. Can't believe I didn't do this from the start.

Just be careful if you do that, especially if you rock crawl at all. When you bottom out...bye bye lights
but if you dont, then thats a stellar idea

What lights are those?
And, i don't plan on goin offroading anytime soon because I plan on building my jeep a certain way before i beat the hell out of it. Don't want any penny drainers to come along the way.

I'm just thinking of Buying two new ones for the front and throw the baja on the back. Then if that one gets destroyed by anything i have a back up that just needs a bulb.
Anyone want to recommend me to some in the same rectangular shape.

get the same ones. they are very cheap, and no worries when you brake them.
also harbor freight has some, but they are 100w

I read this suggestion some time ago on here, take the baja(or light/light's of your choice), and mount them on the inside of your back hatch, from the headliner. Just turn them on when backing up, they'll shine through your back glass, and you don't have to worry about ripping them off. I haven't tried it, but in theory it should work.

Good idea but my windows are like limo tints so i'm sure that would just blind me haha.
I've just been stickin the head outside the window whenever i reverse at night (which is an every day thing)

cut holes for them in the bumper(if that bumper is factory) its not that hard and if you inset them a little bit you dont have to worry about them breaking off on the rocks or people backing into them and breaking them off.

and i like swamper's idea of putting them inside the hatch. i wouldn't say on the headliner, but the trim piece along the back on the top would be ideal for mounting them. you could even take two of the screws out, and thread the lights through the original screw holds and have a really solid mount into the metal trim backing on the roof. easier said than done, though, a little bit of tap work.
