In my 91 Cherokee Laredo, I have a really broken down drivers side front seat. It is the original. It has the typical Cherokee lean to the left thing going on. I believe the seat frame is also halfway broken too. (It rocks back and forth while I drive! ) The two front seats are power seats, and I'm basically looking for some good replacements. All the power options on the seats work just fine, structurally the drivers side is toast. The Jeep is stock so I think that something like a set of racing seats are out of the question. But, I'm thinking more along the lines of some GC Seats. They are very comfy IMO. I really don't want another set of Cherokee seats because I don't want to end up in the same boat again. I also haven't really poked around with the electrical connections to the front seats, so I'm not sure if they just unplug or if they are wired directly to the Jeep. So, I'm basically asking for what you guys think would be a good seat replacement option for my Jeep. BTW, I have read many threads about seat swaps (in particular the GC seat swaps) so I understand what I would need to do as far as sliders, modifying etc.

dude the had the jeep before i did built the seat from up on wood and screwed it to the carpet thinking it would help. junkyard gave me a seat but its red cloth,not grey leather. but its free and i dont slide all over the place. my advice, if you can fix the frame, just swap the passenger seat cushion to the driver side. Or get a power seat from the yard and swap the top and bottom.
