Can I get to the wiring I need through the black rubber tubbing by the hinges or do I need to take off the door panel? I have power windows and locks so i know it's going to be more of a process

Take off the kick panel inside the jeep under your dash in front of the doors. The plugs are there. Just unplug them and push them through. Its one big harness plug, one for power windows, one for speakers, and one smaller one I think.

Just remember. Once you unplug the driver side door, none of the windows or locks will work. And for the dome light plungers, just take the nut off of them and pull them out. They unplug real easy

is it on the drivers side down by your feet? I think I know what youre talking about. Also are they labeled in any way so i know which ones to pull? Where and what are the dome light plungers too? Thanks for your help man, sorry for all the questions. Do you think its worth it to take them off? I wanted to take them off for the summer.

Yes. Kick panels are by your feet. They are not labeled, but just look at the ones that go to your door. Pretty simple. The door plungers are on the fronts of the door jam. About half way up. They push when the door is closed, and spring out when the door is open causing the dome light to come on. I took mine off a couple weeks ago, but put them back on as it got cold and rainy. I plan on taking them back off when I go wheeling next month

I just use my hatch speakers and my lower dash speakers. You could get a speaker bar or wire some up in your kick panels
