Default Remove dash to clean left and right air vents

The center ones are easy to clean since you can just pull the center bezel out but I'm having hard time figuring out how to remove the left and right vent caps to get to the vents to clean. Anyone know how to get them off? Thanks!

See my attachment from the diagram. You gotta remove the whole end cap I believe. I don't think the vent can just pop out.

You shouldn't have to remove the whole dash like the title implies (fun 2-day job for me).

The sides come off and are held on by screws. There are also come metal clips fastening the top cover to the dash.
