Question on old Lincoln welder from a beginner
I picked up an old tombstone Lincoln Idealarc 250 ac/dc welder. I bought it because it came with a cart, acetylene bottle, cutting torches, large bottle of argon/co2, about 4 tig torches and cables, a bunch of 6013 3/16 inch rods and bunch of 7018 rods and a nice and beefy extension cable. The cart has a giant radiator on it Im not sure what thats hooked up to yet, maybe to cool TIG torches? I lucked out and got the whole set up for $200.
For you guys who TIG weld, what else is needed from what I listed to get this thing set up for TIG?
I am kind of thinking this thing is WAY too much welder for me and may sell it and buy something a little smaller/better for small jobs.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction so I know what Im getting in to?
Thanks

Get It. it is an old unit but they are great units. I have a buddy who tig welds professionally. and he says this is one of the best units to get. because of the rang and capabilities of the unit.
