The manuel calls for 80 90w. As for #2 It depends on how often your diffs are in the mud or every 30,000 miles. #3 Plugs , air filter every 15,000 miles. Full tuneup every 30,000.

Use 75w140 full synthetic in the rear differential if you tow with it.

Can you feel a difference in the way the car drives when you change out the diff fluid? Im willing to bet this jeep has never had the diff fluids changed after it rolled out of the factory. Im cracking my cases open in a week or so when I have some free time, and I just want to know what to expect.

You won't feel the difference in the way it drives. It's simply preventative maintenance, and will help the gears last longer as the gear oil becomes more like a milky sludge like substance as time progresses. I believe the manual calls for fluid changes every 30k miles on our XJs. Do yourself a favor and get Lube Locker gaskets. They're reusable, and I didn't have to use any RTV with them. Will make the next change that much easier.

If you are running 80w90 in both diffs, just buy a gallon jug of it and a hand pump. It'll make filling the diffs up much easier.
