I was just reading through your build thread this morning. That thing is wild! I don't believe I've seen that type of conversion done before. You've done it justice though.

Thanks I just couldn't find a 5 speed 2 door for under 1000$ I would've went that route instead of welding the doors shut but now I have a longer bed so it's fine

Thought so! I can only tell the 67 from 68 by the vents in front of the rear wheels, either plastic grill or chrome fingers. I didn't think it was 69 because the edge above the headlight wasn't slanted enough.

Yeah I've heard that the only real downside to them is that the hydraulic jack takes longer to pump up than the high dollar ones. Can't beat it for the price though.

Which HF engine hoist is that? Been talking with my buddy about him building an engine for me for the '00. He says he can do it and I believe he is more then capable. Nothing crazy. Keep it stock for the most part. Maybe a tweak here and there. Going to need an engine stand and hoist.

Hard to tell from the picture, but the cylinder looks to be a bit beefier... so probably the 2 ton.

It's the smallest one they have 1 ton is the max rating but I've picked up more than that with it. Get their stand too I built and ran a small block chevy on mine no problems

X2 on the good to know for the hoist. Guessing one of the 1/2 ton stands and not the 750lbs ones?
