Can I post a favorite picture of someone else's Jeep? This thing says a lot and I dig it because of this fact. It says "No... I don't have to be like you, I'm not going to be like you, So you can go bugger off." lol

Yep, sure is. And I dig the unique unorthodox statement it makes about Dave. I know he's in western NY but I would love to see the looks on peoples faces if he was driving this around downtown NYC. I would be proud and privileged to ride along in that! lol

I posted recently (#9169) but I just changed my wheels and tires so I thought I'd do it again.

I should probably show a side view. I’m going to add some side bars and eventually change the color of the rims.

Basslicks - First off, I'm not fussy. They're fairly easy to restore so I grab almost any one I can get - mostly off of Kijiji. The most I've paid is $200 CDN for a set of 5 in excellent shape. One of them even had an unused original Goodyear MTR tire on it, I've bought rough ones for as little as $20 ea. I have 29 in total. I have them on my XJ, TJ & LJ and plan to put them on my MJ when I convert it to 4WD this summer. I also have them on my expedition trailer and will put a set on my utility trailer when I make some modifications to it.

I basically strip the clear coat, blast them and then paint them with Duplicolor aerosols. I'm building a powder coating oven and hopefully that will result in a tougher finish (although the paint is OK).

Here's one from my trailer ...

Awesome, man! We're lucky to find them in ANY condition in my area, unfortunately. That's cool you've got a good stock pile of them though.

As soon as I get around to installing the front brake lines I'll be sure to do that. Although I'm pretty sure I'll be shock limited before much more movement happens out back.
