Plasti dip?

So I keep seeing how everyone is using plasti dip to do there rims and everything else. Has anyone done there bumpers or maybe anything on the inside. We just got a whole lot of it where I work so I'm gonna try it out. I'm liking the fact that if I don't like it or wanna change it I can just peel it off. So I'm trying to get some cool ideas on what I could paint with it. Pictures anyone

Where i live plasti dip is a favorite of all the teenage kids with there, Hondas, toyota and 4cyl. Cars.....it's actually pretty cool stuff to just be used by the local ricers....my friend sprayed 1 of his rims on his Colorado and didn't like it so he just peeled it off with his fingers...it's kinda looks like a Bedliner with fine grit sand in it...plasti dip fan right here. Just never used on something of my own

As stated, it's a popular thing with the ricers. It got popular with the car scene from the northerners who were using them to cost their rockers in the winter to prevent rust from the salty roads.

Well I've seen several people with jeeps using it on there rims. I just thought it was cool cause you can peel it off

I was looking into this. I want to get rid of all my chrome trim.

I'd just keep this in mind.. If you can peel it off with your fingers, then whats gonna happen when you scrape your bumper?

Plasti dip is awesome stuff...its deff not line x, amerigaurd, etc.....people use it for looks and to protect their wheels in areas where they use salt on icey roads..instead of putting their factory wheels on during cold seasons. Spray it on accordingly and if you don't like it simply peel it off....or touch it up if you scrape it ! At roughly $7 a can you can't go wrong....youtube it and you will see the endless uses . I blacked out all the emblems and wheels on my 08 blk maxima. after a few years i haven't had to retouch it at all !

I'd try it to black out my rims. Except I'm too lazy to remove them to do it, and would just make a mess.

And I didn't say I was gonna paint it to stay. I've been considering painting my bumper grey or something close and this way I can ride around with it for a few days and see if I like it rather than pull the bumper and paint

It's not an XJ but i plasti-dipped the flares and rockers on my KJ up to the body line. I did it to see if I liked it before I bedline it. It has been on for a few months now and it has held up to brush amazingly well.
