well i bought them for 2 different reasons...i love them both..they are both fun to drive..

the xj is my favorite in the snow and off road....and its a 5 spd and i love driving manuals so i like that aspect of it...

but for long drives and mild trails and the wj..its a very comfortable jeep...and fast too...

i dont know...its a hard one to answer...the XJ is a LOT easier to work on with its 4.0...the wj has the 4.7 so not so easy..at 64k miles, the water pump went bad..it was a B*^&h to fix...the xj has over 210k and after i bought it with 204 i put all new u-joints in, 2 new front wheeling bearings, and a new wheel cylinder and now it runs great...i bought it knowing it needed all that stuff fixed..my friend was selling it and i got a good deal on it so i bought it for 1100 and put about 250 into it after and it runs great

they werent on there for long...that was the day i put those BFG MTs on, and i couldnt fit all 4 old tires/wheels in the back so i put 2 in the back, and 2 on the roof...they were only there a couple days
