What's your opinion of this set up? I'm wanting more feedback on what it is like to drive on the street? I drove my buddies with 4.11s and 32x11.5s and it was pretty punchy.
Also, do you wish you went with 4.56s?

My friend ran this setup only with the 4 banger instead of the 4.0L and loved it.
The manual transmission has a bit more power than the auto, so it's a good combination even for the 4.0L.
The auto needs a little deeper of gearing to match, so 4.56 for auto (that's what I did).

I'm currently running 4:56's with the 32x11.5 combo and I can tell you that it is NOT what I want to be driving on the street.
yes, it's punchy, takes off pretty dang easy and holds RPM's well, but on the HyWy, it runs in the 3K range. I really want to jump to 33's in an AT for street driving and use the 32" Kevlars for wheeling. (if I don't trade them off)
Since you have the auto, 4:56's would be better if you plan to use it for wheeling as well as daily driving. You would still be fine with the 4:10s if most of your driving will be on the road.
You could swap in a turbo 4 banger from a Hyundai/Kia to make up for the power. That would bring some smiles.

I don't have an auto. I more concerned about 4.56s versus 4.10s with 33x10.5s
I'd like the truck to be punchy on the street but not too high strung on the freeway.

I love them with my 32s...next set of tires will be 33s
Jeep diva has his tj with 3.73s and 33s and he loves driving my xj any day of the week...
He is considering regearing to 4.10s in the near future...
A lot of extra pep love it off the line and not struggling going into 5th gear...
Oh and at 70mph im at 2500 rpms...

Thanks for the input guys. You kind of sold me Walt haha!
My buddy said he'd sell me his 4.11 axles which are in great shape and Spartan locked so that's why I'm asking. I want it to be punchy but efficient. (I know, weird thing to ask from a 12-year-old Jeep).

My 4.0 is pushing 192k miles and still pushing around doing daily driving duties...the 4.10s helped tremendously with power and gas mileage...I'm getting about 350 to a tank...with no upgrades (injectors/exhaust/throttle body)
