I know 31s will fit laying flat in the back, but i don't have a 33" tire to test this out (the angle of the back seat and the width of the tire is kinda tricky to figure out with a tape measure)

i want to make an organizer in the back with a space for the spare to lie flat, a drawer next to it, and a shelf to lay cargo on top.

Yes it fits, but a false floor will be pretty high up with it in there.

Best option may be a shelf for the tire on top with drawers under that

I have a 33x10.5x15 spare laying in the back of mine.

It fits fine except when offroading and going up sharp inclines it will slide against the interior of the hatch and cause it to not want to open.

Pushing against the metal above the handle while operating the handle seems to get it to pop.

I used to keep mine in the back tied down to the loops on the floor, but it takes up a ton of space, so now I only bring it wheeling. My spare is a 33x1050 as well
