Default Painted my plastics

Old plastics were dingy and faded, I removed the and the old adhesive, painted with krylon fusion, and 3med back on.

Looks great! I've had a couple cans of Fusion for a while in anticipation of doing this, but I've been dreading the job--especially the removal of the old adhesives.

Any tips on products or procedures to help a guy out? I see a bottle of Goo Gone there...

The goo gone didn't help much haha wearever brake cleaner from advanced helped a lot and a heat gun. Or you could just bake it in the sun haha. Use your fingers after it's hot comes off ok

I need to do that to mine also. The bumper corners dressed out ok with vinyl dressing but the trim just won't get black again.

Try this. 3M 08984. Recommended to me by a fellow forum member. Stuff works great and does not evaporate right away. Comes with the little spout in the picture. Really like this stuff.

Some of my trim is starting to peel though, and needs to be reattached.

Thanks Ralph!
Little goes a long way. Be patient. You will put a little on the corner of rag. You will start to rub a little and nothing will happen. You will put a little more on the rag. Rub a little more and then all of sudden it will start to come off. Unfortunately I did not know of this product when I did my door molding but have used it in other places. Best I can tell it has not effected anything.
