Lots of sand paper.

Im no pro but I just did mine last night. I sanded it down really good with 220 GRIT and then cleaned it up really good with some sort of cleaner. "grease lightning", or whatever you got. Did 2 or 3 light coats of primer and then did the paint of choice then I did 2 or 3 light coats of clear

Yeah they should have original paint. I'm trying to figure out the best way to hit the rust since I don't have a sand blaster. I was wondering if there was maybe some type of soak to help.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to be working on these tonight and tomorrow. |
ah **** that's rust? that just looked like dirt from my iphone. disregard all my advice haha
if you've got patience go for it that's gonna be a lot of sanding |
POR 15 that ****.

^^ that. they make gray por15 also

I would probably use sandpaper. It seems like the easiest way to do it. Your hands should have no problems scraping the inside and out because there's a good amount of room in between the coils. With a sand blaster, you'll have a hell of a time getting the insides done to your liking.
