By OBA, you mean a compressor? A cool idea that doesn't sap power from the battery is to convert your AC into an air compressor, assuming you don't use the air conditioning.

I just use a 5 gallon tank thats put up too 200 psi bolted to the ground in the cargo area.
For a compressor just put everything in the back and wire a switch.
Get fancy and make a nice storage units back there if its a 4 door.
ya a ac compressor would be cool, but would have to run hoses to a tank that really has no room other than the cargo space. Or you could make your own tank that fits under the hood... but good luck figuring that mess out

If you use a York compressor you have to remove oil from the output & have it return to the York crankcase.
A Sanden type compressor needs to have it returned to the air intake after the air filter.
Google will provide you with tons of info, take the time to learn everything before you decide which route to take.

I built a false floor in my cargo area and I am buying a pancake compressor, extending the power wire and connecting it to my batt. I am going to mount it in the red circled area on top of the false floor.
